Apache Gahn Dancer, or Mountain Spirit Dancer
The "Apache Gan Dancer" or "Apache Crown Dance" (also known as Mountain Spirit, Crown Dance, or Devil Dance) is a sacred Apache ceremonial dance where dancers embody the Gaan (Mountain Spirits) to protect the community from disease and enemies, and to celebrate ancestors, community, and traditions.
